Chipped Stone Tool and Golgakki The men in the Old Stone Age lived on fishes and animals caught by using chipped stone tools or Golgakki, and fruits and roots in caves. A chipped stone tool is also called Tajae Seokki and means the tool made by breaking a stone for easy use. It was used throughout the Old Stone Age and after this age. It was frequently found in Korean relics of the Neolithic and Bronze Age. Golgakki,
a tool made of bone, was used as an important tool from
the Old Stone Age with stone tools. Since it was easier
to handle bone and horn than stone and could make a sharp
blade, the various tools were made of it and especially
it was frequently used to make needles, arrowheads, hooks,
etc. |
