Human bones were excavated in dolmens of East Asia, but since acid soil was widely distributed in Korea, it was rare for human bones to be discovered.  In the Japanese dolmens, human bones without heads or stone arrowheads became stuck into the chest and were discovered.  Korean Dolmens where human bones were excavated were at Hwangseok-ri, Jaewon, Chungbui, Jungdo, Chuncheon, Gangwondo, Jincheon-dong, Dalsung-gun, Gyeongbuk, Daepyung-ri, Jinyang-gun, Gyeongnam and Deokcheon-ri, Changwon.  It was known from human bones found at these regions that a man was buried at one grave.  But, human bones were scattered in the space blocked by some partitions of the grave room in the northern type dolmen.

Burial methods of dolmens included expansion burial, the most general burial method, lying down on one's side, burying bones and cremation.
