o Daegokri Collective Relics of Bronze Age Collective relics of the Bronze Age were excavated from tombs with stone and wood <Jeokseok Wooden Coffin Tomb> in Daegokri, Dogokmyeon, Hwasun. In 1971, they were first found under the wall of a private house which is located on the low hill bordering the upper stream of Yongsan river by a villager while digging a ditch. The excavated relics include as follows : 3 bronze swords, 2 Danewsemungyeong, 2 Paljuryeong, 2 Ssangduryeong, 1Dongsa and 1Dongbu. A distinctive Eehyungdongryeong was excavated along with bronze swords and mirrors and bronze bells were first found in Jeonnam. Also, wooden pieces found on the ground were measured to identify the year when they were made by our nuclear power research institute and the year of 2360 120B.P resulted. However, considering that excavated relics include bronze swords of the late Bronze Age , it is assumed that the actual year of production is the 2nd and 1st century A.D. The collective relics excavated from Daegokri, Dogokmyeon are judged as providing epoch-making data for studies of the Korean bronze age and it indicates that Hwasun was a central area of prehistoric culture o
