1. Objectives ¢º This park aims to make a long-term and organized plan to preserve dolmens as cultural assets and neighboring natural environment and to make successful environment of cultural assets. ¢º This park aims to make an emergency plan necessary to prevent and prepare against floods, fire and natural disasters , or by artificial damage. ¢º This park aims to obtain archeological data through academic research and excavational survey. Based on the data, exhibition halls and educational centers are supposed to be built for combinational functions such as exhibitions, academic activities, leading local culture, education, promotion and so forth. ¢º This park intends to plan festivals and events pertaining to dolmens, prehistoric age, megalithic culture to represent the Bronze age and to provide specific experience for better education and a connection to neighboring cultural resources. ¢º This park aims to plan an organized investment and effective management, and to develop harmonious and decent tour attractions. ¡º Preservation and Improvement Plan of Hwasun Dolmens ¡»

2. Preservation and Utility Plan ¢º Prehistoric Relics Park This park plans to make dolmens of Hwasun a prehistoric relic park to provide knowledge of local culture and history and to utilize this park as tour attractions connected with Unjoo Temple, Dogok Hot Spa, Neungjoo Government Office. ¢º Exhibition Hall of Prehistoric Relics The dolmens in Hyosanri and Daeshinri can be completely preserved through preservation plan of historic sites. For it, the government intends to establish a basic plan of dolmens promotion project and a utility plan of the exhibition hall.
¢º Representation of Prehistoric Culture On November 2001, the first Dolmen Festival was held to provide opportunities to experience prehistoric culture including dolmens. The Hwasun County People's Day and the Unjoo Festival also provide various programs and tour attractions.
