Earthenware made in the age of dolmen is called plain pottery. This earthenware which was fired in kiln is reddish brown or yellowish brown coloured.
Potteries for storing and carrying crop grains, cooking, and serving food were specially made.
Crops harvested in dry field and paddy field were stored for daily meals and seeds must have been kept for the next years’ farming.
Bowls for cooking were small jars with a height of less than 20cm.
It is only assumed that many small bowls excavated were made for eating meals A size of bowl and plate ranges from 5 to 11cm 5~11cm.
